Booking through the Rumah Wayan website starts with a request that staff review. Before opening the form, agree on these details with your travelling companions so the request describes the stay you actually need.
1. Separate flight dates from accommodation dates
Write down your check-in and check-out dates using local dates in Bali. An overnight flight can leave home on one date and arrive on another. If you arrive very early or late, explain when you need access to a room. Do not assume early room access is available; ask before making plans around it.
2. Plan guests per bungalow, not just the group total
Rumah Wayan has four independent bungalows. Each normally accommodates two guests, or up to three with a paid extra bed. For four people, for example, say that you would like two bungalows with two guests in each. Staff still need to confirm that the requested bungalows and any extra bedding are available for the same dates.
3. Distinguish private rooms from shared spaces
An independent bungalow does not mean exclusive use of the whole property. The garden and pool are shared with other guests. If you are travelling as a group, describe any particular plans instead of assuming the grounds are private to your party. The photo gallery helps you compare the rooms and shared spaces.
4. Keep questions together
Make one short note with your expected arrival, any children travelling, extra-bed requests and transport questions. It is fine to mark details as undecided. Check the spelling of your contact email address and keep the reply somewhere you can find it again. A request for an arrangement is not a guarantee that it can be provided.
5. A submitted request is not a confirmed reservation
Do not treat a submission screen or acknowledgement as final confirmation. When staff reply, check the dates, bungalow count, guest count, total including extras, payment instructions and cancellation conditions. Where payment is required, follow the instructions and deadline provided, then retain the reservation confirmation issued after payment has been checked.
A note to prepare before sending
- Check-in and check-out: local dates in Bali.
- Guests and bungalows: include the number in each bungalow.
- Arrival: expected time, or undecided.
- Questions: extra bedding or other arrangements to confirm.
- Contact: an email address where you can receive the reply.
Once these details are ready, open the official booking form. The FAQ also covers common stay questions. This checklist helps you prepare a request; it does not guarantee availability or additional services.
